A caregiver who plans to be in the field for a while (at least one year). Staff turnover is an issue many child care facilities face. Find out how the program works to reduce staff turnover. Are their incentives for staff, education/training opportunities, or ways for the caregiver to advance within the program?
Ask for references and read their licensing record if possible.
